Craig Everett is the founder and managing director of Apex Valor Advisors. He holds a PhD in Finance from Purdue and a bachelors in quantitative economics from Tufts. He is currently a tenured finance professor at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in Malibu, CA.
Dr. Everett is an expert in business valuation, entrepreneurial finance and small business finance. He is the executive director of the Pepperdine Most Fundable Companies Competition, which is the largest startup competition in the United States. He is also the executive director of the Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project, which publishes the annual Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Report, which is used widely throughout the business valuation industry for its cost of capital insights.
Dr. Everett is member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, Financial Executives International, and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Dr. Everett and his research have been featured in national financial media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Fox Business, BusinessWeek and CNBC. Dr. Everett is a frequent speaker at financial conferences and events.
